Cool summer activities in Destination Luberon Coeur de Provence

Everything is possible in the Luberon: combining the discovery of heritage, gastronomy and nature without being too hot (a little heat anyway because it's good for the morale :)). Destination Luberon Cœur de Provence offers you a selection of activities for this summer: day or evening, we have what you need!  

1- Discover the cellars of the Palais Saint-Firmin

Semi-troglodyte site built by Man and dug in the rock, go to the cellars of the Palais Saint-Firmin for a cultural and cool moment! Explore the underground passages of one of the most beautiful villages in France, Gordes. A place steeped in history that bears witness to the craft activities (olive oil mill, silos, vats) of the village in the Middle Ages!  

2- Walk in the shade of the cedars 

The cedar forest of Cabrières-d'Avignon, majestic of 5 hectares will bring you a good bowl of freshness!
In the shade of the cedars, stroll through the forest and enjoy its calm and tranquillity. You can even bring your picnic and have lunch on the spot thanks to the many tables available on the site :) 

3- Take part in the summer night guided tours

From July 4th to August 29th 2022, the Destination Luberon Coeur de Provence offers you guided, fun and cultural tours in emblematic places of the Luberon. Our night tours will be perfect for combining culture, discovery and a refreshing evening: under the stars in Lourmarin, every Wednesday at 9pm, under the stars in Cavaillon every Thursday at 9pm or Gordes under the lanterns every Monday and Friday at 9.30pm. A great opportunity to discover our destination in a different and original way!
