La Bastide des Grandes Terres

Located in the heart of the Luberon Regional Nature Park, our gîtes offer a haven of peace just 1km from the centre of Mérindol, a charming Provencal village with all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. La Bastide des Grandes Terres enjoys a privileged position, less than an hour from the Mediterranean, and close to many picturesque villages and exceptional natural sites. Entirely fenced in, it is surrounded by typically Provençal vegetation: olive trees, cypresses, vines, oleanders, lavender and aromatic plants.

The gîtes

With a surface area of 100m², they can accommodate up to 5/7 people, with facilities designed for comfort and well-being.

Each gîte has a bright living room with a private spa, ideal for relaxation. The large living area includes a fully-equipped kitchen, a lounge and a dining room, complete with a large sofa bed. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed and en-suite shower. A second bedroom has 3 single beds, perfect for children. Depending on the gîte, you'll have your own bathroom or shower.

Linen and towels are provided, with beds made up before your arrival for your immediate comfort. Baby equipment is available on request to make your stay easier for families with young children.

Outside, a shaded terrace under a pergola invites you to enjoy the warm Provencal evenings. For your outdoor relaxation, garden furniture, deckchairs and a Weber barbecue are at your disposal, while a carport and private car park secure your vehicle in the immediate vicinity of the gîte.

At La Bastide des Grandes Terres, we offer a range of services to enhance your stay:

On your arrival, we welcome you with detailed documentation on the region, including IGN maps, hiking guides and information on local culture and gastronomy.
Our heated swimming pool, measuring 11x6 metres, is open from mid-April to the end of September. It has a decked area, sun loungers and a solar shower, all in a shared, safe space.
For leisure activities, there is a play area for children and a petanque area for adults.
You also have access to our organic orchard, where you can enjoy freshly-picked fruit.
Relaxation areas with hammocks, deckchairs and benches are provided for moments of rest and relaxation.
