Sommaire
Located in the heart of the Luberon Regional Nature Park, La Chochotte du Boulon is a five-hectare wine estate that has been managed organically since 2006 under the direction of Doris.
Specialising in the production of red wine, it stands out for its 100% Carignan, made from vines between 60 and 100 years old. A remarkable feature of this estate is that half of its land is worked with horses, promoting meticulous tillage that respects the soil and the environment.
Although located in an appellation zone, the pure Carignan vines do not qualify for the Luberon PDO. However, this grape variety, often underestimated for its gustatory and aromatic qualities as the vines age, receives special attention here. New plantings are carefully tended using horses, offering a respectful and attentive approach to the soil and the surrounding ecosystem.
